Chalets in Les Arcs Availability & Booking

Les Arcs is a great ski holiday destination and Plan Peisey is probably the best village in les Arcs for ski access. Plan Peisey is the arrival and departure point of the Vanoise Express that links the ski resorts of Les Arcs and la Plagne. Unfortunately however, for the 2007/08 winter season the Vanoise Express will be closed, please see our News page.

Four of Ski Beat’s les Arcs chalets are in Plan Peisey and are 150m or less from the lifts, five other ski chalets are about 400m and chalet Edelweiss is in Peisey Nancroix – they all provide a great base for a ski holiday exploring the combined les Arcs and la Plagne ski area.

Les Arcs has a huge and varied ski area with something to offer all levels of skier and snowboarder. In addition to the link with la Plagne there have been many new ski lifts installed in the les Arc 2000 ski area. Les Arcs is a high altitude ski resort offering superb skiing from the trees of Plan Peisey and Villaroger to the summit of the Aiguille Rouge with its breath-taking views over the surrounding French, Italian and Swiss Alps.

Les Arcs snow record: Les Arcs has an excellent snow record, there are also plenty of snow making machines to ensure that ski access is maintained to the villages of les Arcs and Plan Peisey.

Skiing in les Arcs: Access to the ski area of Les Arcs from Plan Peisey is via a high-speed 6-seater chairlift. At the top of this ski lift there is a blue run to les Arc 1800 from where the TransArc cable car provides access to the les Arc 2000 ski area. When skiing home to Plan Peisey from other parts of Les Arcs there is a choice of easy green, blue or red pistes. Alternatively there is a black run if those ski legs are not too tired at the end of the day. There is a network of snowmaking machines ensuring good ski access to Plan Peisey throughout the season.

For a detailed review of each ski run see our les Arcs piste guide. Snowboarders in les Arcs have the benefit of a large snowpark and half pipes above les Arcs 1800.

Guests staying in Chalet Edelweiss in Peisey Nancroix for their skiing holiday in les Arcs are just 200m from the nearest lift which takes you up to Plan Peisey, the Vanoise Express and a fast 6-seater chairlift.
