This year we have partnered with Snow Cooks, who are running courses for select weeks this summer in Peisey in the French Alps.
Taking place in an actual chalet, Mel, the tutor, is an experienced ex-host who will guide you through all aspects of chalet host life. Everything is cooked from scratch and based on old and current chalet menus, and you will also learn about the other aspects of the role - like cleaning and running a smooth service.
There are plenty of spaces available if you want to get out and spend a week in the French Alps learning a whole 'host' of chalet skills.
If you choose to participate in a Snow Cooks course, the recruitment team can arrange to interview you while you are out in France.
