La Rosiere Afternoon Care for 8 & 9 year olds

New for Season 2010/11 in La Rosiere as well as providing lunch & afternoon care service to children aged 4 to 7 yrs, we can now also offer this to 8 and 9 yr olds.

Parents need to book their children into ESF Les Eucherts, which is paid for separately, and are responsible for taking their children to the ski school meeting point at the start of the lesson. The Ski Beat Nanny will be on hand during the lesson, although she doesn't actually ski with the children. She will collect those in her care at the end of the lesson and accompany them back to a Ski Beat chalet for lunch: - this is likely to be whichever chalet the most children are staying in. (Children will be expected to carry their own skis).

After lunch there will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities including painting, drawing, snowman building, sledging and much more. There will also be a choice of books and games as well as a selection of children's videos & DVDs. Please note this service is not intended as a supervised lunch service for 8 & 9 yr olds wishing to do full day ski school. If your child is booked into afternoon lessons you will be responsible for collecting them from the afternoon care and taking them to their lesson.

The normal afternoon care ratio of 1 nanny to 6 children aged 4-9yrs applies. Please note if all children are aged 7-9yrs, Ski Beat reserve the right to increase the ratio to 1 nanny to 8 children. We cannot guarantee that siblings aged 4-9yrs will be looked after by the same nanny.
