Ski Jobs: Senior Maintenance Person with fluent French (Position Filled)

Ski Beat requires a hard working multi skilled individual with a fun, flexible easy going attitude to be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of their ski chalets and staff accommodation in their resorts of Val d'Isere, La Rosiere, La Plagne, Les Arcs, La Tania and Meribel.

This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Person to spend this coming winter in the French Alps. The applicant must have worked as a trades person or in a maintenance role and preferably have some idea of the hospitality industry. You are required to have a clean, valid, full driving licence, have your own van, tools and a laptop.

Your responsibilities:

Repair a diverse range of problems from broken beds, to common electrical problems, to blocked pipes etc.
Spotting potential problems before they arise.
Maintaining chalets and accommodation to a high standard, for example - painting walls, tightening screws, re-sealing baths/showers etc.
Keep work sheets up-to-date
Liaise with local tradesmen where necessary.
Dealing with emergencies when they occur.
Move equipment between resorts
Return weekly expenses
