Direct Ski, Ski Beat's sister company are looking for a Country Manager.

Would you like to work for one of the most dynamic, innovative and exciting winter ski tour operators this season?

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the Alps.  The applicant must not be afraid of hard work and commitment and must have a good command of French, both spoken and written.

As an Country Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of our French Resorts.

Key responsibilities include -

• Planning and delivering the overseas resort staff training programme
• Resort setup - close down
• Planning and organising transfer logistics
• Controlling our airport operation
• Ensuring all of our guests receive an exceptional level of customer care
• Setting up an interesting, varied and profitable après ski curriculum
• Setting, maintaining and delivering sales targets
• Ensuring all paper work is delivered to Head Office on timely basis
• Motivating the team to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction objectives
• Provide a systematic support network to all staff ensuring their well being

Requirements

• Ability to speak French to a near fluency level would be a distinct advantage.
• Having previously worked in a management role in a ski resort is essential.
• You will also have proven results in sales and customer service quality management, with strong leadership and staff management skills.
• You should have plenty of ski or snowboard experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organisational, accounting and IT skills.
• A full clean driving licence is also vital.
