Ski Resort Jobs: Resort Managers REQUIRED

Resort Manager - La Tania ( x 2 required urgently to start end Feb/beg March 2010)

Meeting and greeting the guests and dealing with all their requirements, monitoring resort expenditure, dealing with local suppliers, regular quality control checks on chalets, co-ordinating the ski hosting, organising staff meetings, carrying out disciplinary procedures, keeping the French Office aware of guest/staff issues.

Please note: The position of Resort (& Assistant) Manager in one of our ski resorts requires you to be over 22 years of age with a clean driving licence, have an excellent knowledge of catering and be able to ski/board to an advanced standard.

Assistant Resort Manager/Driver/Reserve - (in brief)

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has worked a season as a chalet host and wants to move in to a managerial role.

This busy but rewarding position is available from 17 November to end April 2010 and requires a flexible, hardworking and fun loving individual with excellent communication skills and a command of the French language.

You will work alongside your Resort Manager in a similar role and take over the role of Resort Manager if required to in the event of injury/illness.

Meeting and greeting the guests and dealing with all their daily requirements. You will have regular contact with local suppliers, be responsible for quality control checks in chalets, co-ordinating the ski hosting, organising lift passes and ski school requirements. It may be necessary to carry out disciplinary procedures, keeping the Ski Beat Office in France aware of guest/staff issues. Dining with the guests in the chalets and assisting with local transfers will be expected of you. You will also be responsible for the effective service of the Meribel Ski Beat minibus and will be required to drive as and when required.

You will be provided with a 3-valley lift pass as part of your package.
