SELF DRIVE

Driving can be a quick and economical way to get to the Alps. Should you wish, Ski Beat will arrange your Channel crossing: we can book tickets for you with Eurotunnel or P&O Ferries. Alternatively, if you arrange all of your travel independently, there is a £150 per person discount.

We will provide directions to your chalet as part of your Final Travel Details.

Please find below resort maps showing the location of the Ski Beat chalets:

La Plagne  Les Arcs La Rosiere La Tania Meribel Val d'Isere

Please note: Chalets are not accessible before 09.00h on the day of arrival and breakfast is not provided. The departing guests may still be in the chalet when you arrive; we ask that you show them all due consideration. If they are still in the chalet you will be shown to a local restaurant for breakfast (at your own expense). On the day of departure we can leave a room (with shower) available for you until 16.00h.

Make sure you are prepared for your journey: conditions can be treacherous on the roads to the resorts and snow chains are a legal requirement in the Alps. You can buy snowchains in France, or buy them in the UK before you leave from www.snowchains.com on 01892 519 933. For a discount please say that you are staying with Ski Beat.

If you are arranging your own train travel, please see our Resort Transfer  page for details of taxi companies who can arrange transfers. If you are arranging your own flights to the Alps, you will also need to arrange your own transfers.
