La Rosiere Ski holidays: Our chalets in La Rosiere are almost completely booked for half term with just one room left, we do have chalets at Easter available. Click on Availability and Booking to check live availability, or call 01243 780 405.

La Rosiere 1850 is great resort for family ski holidays: it sits on a sunny plateau overlooking Bourg St Maurice, with superb views across the Tarentaise valley. We at Ski Beat chose La Rosiere 1850 as our latest ski resort in which to offer catered chalet holidays after skiing there ourselves for many years. La Rosiere is linked with La Thuile to form the Espace San Bernardo: it is good for all levels of skiers and snowboarders as well as being child friendly. For those looking for something different on their ski holiday, or for the non-skier, La Rosiere offers many tracks dedicated to snow rackets, in addition to paths for walkers, allowing exploration of the forests and other areas around the resort.

Our La Rosiere chalets are in the Les Eucherts area and the La Rosiere ESF ski school meeting point as well as the ski hire shop is just 200m away. Les Eucherts is a growing development of catered chalets and other ski accommodation; it is self-contained with its own bars, restaurants, shops, ice skating rink and a bowling alley for your apres ski activities. The main village of La Rosiere 1850 is about a 10 minute walk from the Ski Beat chalets along a forest path, it has a number of bars and restaurants to choose from.

La Rosiere snow record: La Rosiere has an excellent snow record: the ski area enjoys an enviable position on the border with Italy giving it the advantage of catching weather systems coming from both directions.

Skiing in La Rosiere: La Rosiere offers plenty of skiing for everyone: seven black runs, three snowparks, an abundance of red and blue ski runs as well as several greens close to the main village of La Rosiere 1850 and les Eucherts. Whilst out skiing, the panoramic views are dominated by Mont Blanc and you can even see Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn in the distance. La Rosiere is linked to La Thuile in Italy to form the Espace San Bernardo, a ski area ranging from 1200m to 2650m, with 73 runs, 37 ski lifts and 150 km of pistes. Almost all the skiing is above 1850m and much of it North facing. The longest run in La Rosiere is some 11km and you can ski over the border into Italy where there are some great restaurants for lunch in La Thuile.

There are 6 green ski runs, 23 blue, 32 red and 12 blacks in La Rosiere. For a detailed review of each ski run see our La Rosiere piste guide. It is less well known for a huge amount of off-piste skiing and heli-skiing is available if you ski from La Rosiere just over the border into Italy.

Snowboarders in La Rosiere have the benefit of snowparks and half pipes above the main village of La Rosiere 1850 as well as another area to the right of les Eucherts.

Chalets in La Rosiere: Ski Beat has nine catered ski chalets for you to choose from in la Rosière: there are three in Chalet Perdrix and six in nearby Papillon together with the in-house crèche. Our chalets sleep from 8 to 17 skiers, all chalet bedrooms are en-suite and enjoy very good ski access to the slopes of la Rosiere.  Both developments are in les Eucherts which has its own commercial centre containing a bowling alley, ice skating rink, shops, restaurants and bars. The main village of la Rosière is about 10 minutes from the Ski Beat chalets along a forest walk and has a number of bars and restaurants to choose from.

La Rosiere nightlife: La Rosiere offers limited nightlife. In les Eucherts there are three bars; for a bigger selection of apres-ski there is a free bus service from les Eucherts to the main part of Rosiere 1850 until past midnight.
Childcare in la Rosiere: Ski Beat offers childcare either in our creche in Chalet Papillon or an afternoon care service for the older ones. There is even a private outdoor play area. Please note: The childcare facility is for the use of Ski Beat guests only.
