La Rosiere has an excellent snow record: the ski area enjoys an enviable position on the border with Italy giving it the advantage of catching weather systems coming from both directions.
La Rosiere offers plenty of skiing for everyone: 15 black runs, 2 snowparks, an abundance of red and blue ski runs as well as several greens close to the main village of La Rosiere 1850 and les Eucherts. Whilst out skiing, the panoramic views are dominated by Mont Blanc and you can even see Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn in the distance. La Rosiere is linked to La Thuile in Italy to form the Espace San Bernardo, a ski area ranging from 1200m to 2650m, with 80 runs, 38 ski lifts, 160 km of pistes and 398 snow canons. Almost all the skiing is above 1850m and much of it North facing. The longest run in La Rosiere is some 11km and you can ski over the border into Italy where there are some great restaurants for lunch in La Thuile.
There are 6 green ski runs, 23 blue, 32 red and 15 blacks in La Rosiere. For a detailed review of each ski run see our La Rosiere piste guide. It is less well known for a huge amount of off-piste skiing and heli-skiing is available if you ski from La Rosiere just over the border into Italy.
Snowboarders in La Rosiere have the benefit of snowparks and a boardercross above the main village of La Rosiere 1850 as well as another area to the right of les Eucherts.
Ski Beat has nine catered ski chalets for you to choose from in Les Eucherts: there are three in Chalet Perdrix and six in nearby Papillon together with the in-house crèche. Our chalets sleep from 8 to 17 skiers, all chalet bedrooms are en-suite and enjoy very good ski access to the slopes of la Rosiere.
La Rosiere offers limited nightlife. In les Eucherts there are three bars; for a bigger selection of apres-ski there is a free minibus service from les Eucherts to the main part of Rosiere 1850 until 11pm.
Ski Beat offers childcare either in our creche in Chalet Papillon or an afternoon care service for the older ones. There is even a private outdoor play area. Please note: The childcare facility is for the use of Ski Beat guests only.
