PisteColourSector - Saulire & Altiport

Rhodos
Green Easy green for beginners to practice turns although it can be surprisingly steep for a green in places
Blanchot Green The best place in Meribel for beginners. A long, wide and easy piste to beat the first time nerves! A great area to take children to also
Foret Green A nice green going away from the Altiport although pretty plat and narrow in places so be prepared to schuss or pole!
Aigle Blue A great run back from the Pas du Lac 2 although it can get busy
Chardonneret Blue A very flat and easy piste for beginners linking Mottaret to Meribel. Also crowded especially at the end of the day
Biche Blue Great run for intermediates with fantastic views over the valley. Beautiful scenery and a nice cruisey run, Excellent!
Geai Blue Sweet & easy for beginners, joins up to Belette
La Loze Blue Good long run for intermediates when the snow is good
Marmotte Blue Good run for beginners/intermediates taking you right back into Meribel to the Cotes lift, you can join this and come of Cerf if you are tired!
Belette Blue Short linking run to Rhodos run
Lapin Blue The only run to lead directly back to Morel down past the altiport, and doesn't get too busy
Doron Blue The only run back to La Chaudanne on the Saulire side for very confident beginners, can be narrow and busy in places
Nivorolle Red The beginning for this run is quite flat but don't be deceived as it soon steepens intp a pretty exciting quality red run
Marcassin Red Very nice cruisey red for intermediates
Mauduit Red Long well-groomed red from the top of La Saulire to La Chaudanne, great for intermediates
Chamois Red Slightly mogully at the top but nevertheless an easy red, recommended for inprovers just taking the step up from blue
Renard Red Difficult red, quite steep, a challenge for any intermediate and its one of those reds that advanced skiers/boarders will love
Cerf Red A wide-pisted red, great for practising those carving turns
Grande Rosiere Black A run to test your ability, steep & fast and sometimes icy, good advanced standard
Sanglier Black A very steep and challenging run, good for getting the adrenaline pumping, one of the best in Meribel!
Piste Colour Sector - Mont du Vallon
Combe Vallon Red Long runs which are relavively quiet except during high season, however the top can sometimes get icy and is steep
Campagnol Red Long, steep and challenging red with some real quality moguls. Amazing views from the top and the posibility of off-piste

Furet Green Flat beginners run
Bouvreuil Blue Quite flat and a really straighforward run
Rossignol Blue Wide and easy well-groomed blue piste
Ours Blue Blue run linking bottom of Mr Vallon to Mottaret, gets busy with the traffic coming down into town
Sizorin Blue Joins Martre, almost all flat!
Martre Blue Flat traverse across the mountain
Hermine Blue Lovely little run from the top of Arolles back into Mottaret but can be icy at times
Perdrix Blue A little steep tp start bit once mastered is easy the rest of the way. Good confidence builder for beginners close to the facilities of Mottaret
Lac de la Chambre Red A long easy red after a fairly steep start from the top of Cote Brune chair in this red run playground area
Venturon Red Difficult red but a great opportunity for off-piste in powder, surprisingly steep and bumpy in places, a good intermediate run
Alouette Red Nice challenging intermediate run, great in powder
Mouflon Red Relatively easy intermediate run with some good off piste beside, off the other side of Plattieres chair to Alouette, but can be reached from Mont de la Challe too.
Bouvreuil Red Good run coming off the Plan des Mains chairlift, burn your legs by doing it straight after Venturon or Alouette!
Coqs Red A short red but not too difficult, its used as a linking run to get you back and forth to Tougnete

Truite Green The only direct piste linking Mottaret and Meribel, a nice cruise through the trees
Lagopede Red A really good confidence buildren for those beginners making the step up to intermediate level and not too steep
Dahu Red Link between Meribel and Mottaret, does get the crowds
Bartavelle Black Great mogul field (at the top of a drag) to get the legs working! This is a favourite run of Meribel
Piste Colour Sector - Tougnete & Roc de Fer
Faon Blue An easy intermediate run to gain confidence, nice and long and really good fun in the powder
Choucas Blue A run for confident beginners/intermediates to improve their carving turns or short swings in peace and quiet
Escargot Blue Best in the morning when the snow is good, links up woth the long Gelinotte for a mountain-ride feel!
Grives Blue Nice & easy blue to traverse over towards the Tougnete bubble
Lievre Blue A nice blue bringing you back to La Chaudanne down through the trees
Gelionette Blue A good blue leading back to La Chaudanne, this can get icy later in the day
Villages Blue The only run down to Le Raffort and Les Allues, but is only open when snow conditions are good
Blaireau Red Wide and long intermediate run often with good snow
Face Black Crowdless black which isn't too daunting for the reasonably competent intermediate/basic advanced skier/boarder
Bosses Black A mogully run recommended only for the experienced
Combe Tougnete Black A fantastic black, steep at the top but then eases off to become a great run for those intermediates who wish to try a black
Stade de Slalom Black Often closed for competitions where you can see races under the floodlights
