Child Care Information

ADVICE AND INFORMATION
We advise parents to enquire about all aspects of this service at the time of booking, to avoid any misunderstanding about what is and is not provided. All parents will receive our information sheet entitled 'Skiing with Children' with their Final Travel Details. We will provide a list of equipment that we are able to supply in resort that can be reserved for you in advance. In addition, we provide advice regarding what to pack in the way of clothing and equipment for infants, toddlers and skiing children - we may be able to save you valuable luggage space!

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
On the day that you arrive in resort, one of the nannies will visit your chalet to introduce themselves, and answer any queries that you may have about the childcare service. They will also ask you to complete a brief form about your child, so that we can provide the best possible service during your stay, and ensure your peace of mind.

BABYSITTING - Please book in advance
Babysitting is offered free of charge to cover the chalet staff night off, normally from 19.00h or 19.30h for four hours. Any babysitting over and above the four hours provided on the chalet staff night off is charged at a rate of €10 per hour. The service is only available to those who have booked the creche or nanny service, additional children must be paid for locally. Similar nanny:child ratios to those above apply to the babysitting. As only a limited number of chalets can be covered, this service is offered on a first come first served basis and should be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

CHILDREN'S HEALTH
Children taken sick on holiday cannot be cared for by our nannies. If any child is receiving medication or has health problems we must be advised in writing prior to departure. We reserve the right to cancel a booking, without refund, for the creche or nanny service on these grounds.

CHILDREN'S FOOD
For children aged 11 and under high tea is served at around 18.00h by the chalet staff.  If you are travelling with children aged 12 and over who require high tea please indicate this on your booking form. It is requested that parents give details on the booking form of numbers of children requiring high tea and an indication as to what the children enjoy eating. If a child is not yet on solid food, the parents should provide food for use in the creche. In the chalets, your hosts can assist you with preparation of suitable food.
