Chalet Ingrid, La Plagne is a beautifully appointed ski chalet, tastefully furnished throughout. The split-level ground floor provides an elevated lounge level with comfortable seating and a log burning stove, creating a warm and cosy area to relax and socialise. The lounge and dining area are open plan with large French windows all round creating a light and airy living space with great panoramic views. The dining area opens onto a terrace - affording great vistas across the valley from La Plagne 1800 - and along with the chalet's private garden, offers a great outdoor area for guests to enjoy. Three of the chalet's bedrooms are particularly spacious with rooms 2 and 4 also opening onto balconies. Room 3 is more quirky, with its sloping roof and cosy feel. At the top of the stairs to the first floor landing there is a desk and seating area next to a big picture window with stunning views, which provides a quiet space for some peaceful relaxation or a comfortable spot to log on to the chalet's free Wi-Fi. Although Chalet Ingrid does not have en-suite facilities it has a spacious bathroom on the ground floor with a bath, walk-in shower and two sinks and there is another shower upstairs. Chalet Ingrid offers touches of real comfort in its electric boot warmers and of course its sauna (with its own shower) for really unwinding those muscles at the end of the day. The chalet is ideally suited to families and smaller groups.
Chalet Ingrid is set amongst the trees at the top of La Plagne 1800. It is a 5 minute walk to the village centre and the nearest chairlift is 380m away. The Ski Beat courtesy bus operates from the top of the steps leading to the chalet to take you the 2 minute ride to La Plagne Centre for skiing. Meanwhile the regular local bus service gives guests convenient direct access to Plagne Bellecote, the departure point for the Bellecote glacier, and to the 1800 village centre for those who prefer not to walk.
The Chalet Ingrid host lives on the lower floor (separate entrance).
All rooms can take a cot except room 3. If booking the whole of Chalet Ingrid, an additional child's bed can be put in room 1 or 2. For a quote please contact our office.
“We stayed in it over Christmas this year and had a brilliant time. The Chalet was looked after by Claire and she was very professional. From when she welcomed us off the bus until she saw us off she was very friendly and cooked us lots of lovely food. She made breakfast, and the evenings really great - each evening was like a dinner party. The cakes were really tasty and every evening we had a 3 lovely courses. She also cleaned and tidied the whole chalet every day.”

"Alice was absolutely fantastic. As a group of eight mid-20 year olds I expect we weren't the tidiest group (nor the most punctual at breakfast- regularly appearing at 8.55am) but Alice always had a smile on her face. Alice was full of information and advised us on which pistes to travel to, which restaurant to eat at on Wednesday and what activities to do. Along with Kate, who was also fantastic and as helpful and pleasant a rep as we could hope for, our stay was made as good as we could have hoped for and we will definitely be recommending Ski Beat to others (as we have already done so)."

"Alice, the chalet Ingrid host was fantastic, always friendly and helpful. She is also an excellent cook! not once was I disappointed by the food. First time I have had a chalet host but after this experience I don't think I will go skiing any other way!"

"Alice made sure that our holiday was not only good, but completely wonderful. The food was great, her attitude to work was professional, but friendly, and I came back from the break feeling very relaxed and looked after. Particular mention to her apple and cinnamon cake which was delicious."

"Our Chalet host, (Smix - Chalet Ingrid), was absolutely superb. She made such a positive contribution to the holiday. The food was great, and Smix really made the effort outside of normal chalet host duties. She was knowledgeable about the resort and great fun. Happy to partake in Apres Dinner activities with the guests. She went beyond the call and made the holiday special. Highly recommend."

"All the staff we had contact with were fantastic - from Andrew on the phone when I was booking the holiday, Ben the mini bus driver, Katy our rep and of course Smix our fantastic chalet host. The food was fantastic (especially the afternoon cakes - a favourite of mine). The chalet (Ingrid) was lovely and La Plagne is a great ski area. All the worry was taken out of organising a group ski trip. We are definitely planning on booking our next ski trip with Ski Beat and can't recommend them enough. Thanks for a great holiday! See you in 2014!"

"Great views and a lovely cosy interior. Smix was an amazing Chalet host. Her cooking was first rate and she was always on time smiling and a pleasure to talk to. She made our holiday run more smoothly than anyone has before and coming back from a day on the hill to a note and one of her delicious cakes was absolutely brilliant. We really couldn't have wished for anything more in a host. A big thanks to Ben for our bus service in the mornings and pickups in the afternoon. It really helped get the day off to a good start. He was always punctual and gave us some great advice on pistes and the current and expected weather conditions."

"This was our second time at La Plagne and this visit exceeded the first by some way. Unlike some of the other big providers (Neilson, Crystal, Inghams etc.) we thought Ski Beat provided a much more personal service and a higher standard. Mention must also go to Luke- the minibus driver who picked us up each morning to take us to the slopes. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the resort. His services were key to the success of the holiday".
""We had a really great week, Our chalet host was really friendly and approachable. Excellent holiday overall!!"
