Snuggled up against a beautiful alpine forest, with gorgeous, Savoyard chalets peppered throughout, Méribel Village is very much the place for those who seek out beautiful scenery as much as they yearn for supreme skiing. More hushed than its older siblings, Méribel Village is all about peace and calm. That's not to say the atmosphere is lacking. It's quite the opposite, in fact. There's always a gentle buzz coming from all corners of the village, and you'll find no shortage of things do here. The centre of Méribel Village, which receives sunshine throughout the day, offers two superb restaurants with sun trap terraces, and access to the Golf chairlift and the piste. From here, you will also be able to hop on the free shuttle bus service, which takes you in to Méribel Centre in a few minutes.

Snow Record

Within the Three Valleys, there's a minimum skiable altitude of 1,300 metres, a maximum of 3,230 metres, and 85% of the ski area lies above 1,800 metres. This means that, thanks to that superb altitude and regular, ongoing investments in cultured snow production, the Three Valleys area guarantees snow cover from the beginning of December right up until the end of April. A great ski area is not solely down to size and altitude, its quality is also crucial for skiers and boarders. From the snow maintenance and ease of flow to the run quality and grooming, as well as the competency of its ski lifts, the Three Valleys has all snowy bases covered.

A private nanny service is available in this resort for children aged 4 months - 12 years old. Every day, one of the private nannies will come to your chalet, apartment or hotel and take the children out on an exciting adventure filled with arts & crafts, sleighing and playing in the snow!

The private nanny service ensures that your children are well taken care of. The ratios are a maximum of two children to one nanny for kids under 2 years of age. For the older kids, up to four children to one nanny is recommended. This gives your little ones the attention they require.

Skiing in Resort

Méribel Village benefits from a slightly more sheltered setting than its surrounding resort counterparts, resulting in calmer weather conditions. The Golf chairlift, situated in the heart of the village, offers easy access to the pistes, the beginner's area at Altiport and the snowparks. Intermediate and advanced skiers can directly access the more advanced runs of Méribel Valley, while skiers of all levels, can enjoy the pleasant ski back to the resort via the Lapin blue piste.

Après Ski

Méribel Village's après ski, although limited, enjoys a relaxed and cosy vibe, suited to those who prefer a quiet drink in a casual setting. Head to the Lodge du Village, a great little bar in the centre of the resort. Don't leave without trying their famous, homemade toffee vodka; it's seriously good. For those looking for a night out on the tiles, you can take the short trip on the free shuttle bus to Méribel Centre, renowned for its buzzing bars and clubs. You can also enjoy a spot of indulgence at the village's Deep Nature Spa, where you can sample a wide range of bespoke treatments. You'll even find a selection of child-friendly treatments to help the little ones unwind after their day of all out fun on the slopes.
