Nestled among glorious alpine surroundings, at a snow-reliable height of 1650m, the quiet and picturesque village of Plan-Peisey boast views of the Vanoise National Park. Plan Peisey lies at a great spot beside the Vanoise Express cable-car (the huge double decker cable car), which transport skiers across the valley between Les Arcs and La Plagne. Ski Beat have 11 catered chalets in Plan Peisey, Les Arcs, sleeping from 8 to 15 guests: all close to the lifts and pistes - they all provide a great base to explore the Paradiski. For guests staying in any of our Plan Peisey Chalets, if you pre-book your equipment hire via Ski Beat, you will benefit from our in-chalet fitting service.
Plan-Peisey has a good snow record as well as access to snow cannons to ensure your holiday is snow safe, and with the Vanoise Express station being in the heart of Plan Peisey the village is always serviced by snow cats to maintain snow conditions down to the Vanoise Express cable car and Peisey express chairlift.
Access to the Les Arcs ski area from Plan-Peisey is via a high-speed 6-seater chairlift, the Peisey Express. At the top of this chairlift there is a blue ski run to les Arc 1800 from where the TransArc cable car provides access to the les Arc 2000 ski area, or you can enjoy the several picturesque runs back down to Plan Peisey itself. Skiing home to Plan Peisey from other parts of Les Arcs: there is a choice of easy green, blue or red pistes. Alternatively there is a black run if those ski legs are not too tired at the end of the day. Should the 215km of ski range not be enough for you then jump onto the Vanoise Express right by our chalets in Plan Peisey and head over to La Plagne to do a full tour of the Paradiski and its 450km of pistes.
Plan Peisey and Peisey Vallandry offer limited nightlife although Plan Peisey does have a number of bars and restaurants to choose from whilst Vallandry, about 10 minutes walk away, offers further choice. Must see places to visit are La Vache, a vibrant bar that does incredible food and somewhere to try on your hosts night off, or if you just fancy a beverage after a hard days skiing / riding then head to Mont Blanc bar for a game of pool and a refreshing drink. After the ski slopes close each evening there is no access to the other villages of les Arcs although with some decent bars and restaurants to chose from and a pool in one of the central hotels available for use, why would you need to leave?
